Infrastructure (Systems) Support Engineer – Dallas (Addison)

Our client is a premier IT operations management service provider to enterprises and SMBs across North America and Japan. They are a rapidly growing company with a unique mix of IP, technology, and services. They are headquartered in Silicon Valley with extensive global operations and a growing list of over 2,000+ clients.

This position works out of their North Dallas (Addison) office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage resolution of critical incidents that is impacting customer business
  • Identify and resolve repeated issues in customer infrastructure
  • Act as point of contact for escalations and maintain relationship with Partners/Customers
  • Participate in weekly and monthly reviews with partners
  • Drive CSAT with partners/Customers
  • Collaborate very closely with partner/customer and offshore delivery team

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience infrastructure management or managed services
  • Strong hands on experience in at least one of following technologies and ability to manage heterogeneous infrastructure:
    • Windows (Server, Active Directory, Exchange)
    • Networking (Cisco, Juniper)
    • Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V)
    • Storage (EMC,DELL)
  • Experience working with value added resellers (VARs), managed service providers and enterprise technology providers is a strong plus
  • Hands-on, self-directed professional who plans, prepares and executes professionally
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision and with limited resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
